They've already succeeded in Europe -- through this very sort of initiative -- in making it illegal and punishable by law to criticize Israel.
In much of Europe criticism of Israel is now by law anti semitism -- which in Europe is also a crime.
It's bad enough that they've deceived the American people about every facet of the Mideast conflict.
It's bad enough that they've silenced almost all dissent in Congress -- except for a brave few like Ron Paul. Now -- even he will be gone.
Now they want to make it illegal to speak the truth about Palestine.
So my reaction is nothing vain -- it's absolutely essential in defense of the first amendment.
Use it or lose it.

Your education about and experience with Europe must be MUCH different than mine. Where in Europe is it illegal to criticize Israel? I know several nations have hate speech laws, but I know of no European country where you can get in trouble for saying anything negative about Israel. In fact, the entire European Union denounced Israel's resettlement plans just a few days ago. Are they going to self-impose a punishment?
