Corporate welfare and corporate greed was my point. If you look at the problem from the grocery store bagger you'll never get what I am talking about.
Ok so your problem is the govt doesn't get enough tax from them? What are the numbers on that. As in what did walmart pay in corp tax last yr?

I don't see walmart paying all the much lower then what kmart or sears does to start off do they? I would think a discount store would be a place for entry level, or part time work for someone who had another part time job.

I think 8 bucks an hour about right for the skill level. Maybe you need HS diploma at most.

Whatever tax breaks they get I am really not up on. But I am sure they are all legal. So I am sure other companies use the same ones right?

I'm really wondering what you want Walmart to do? Just go union? make less money? They have a minimum wage to indicate the pay for the lowest of skilled jobs. Those are like discount retail, fast food, restaurant work, etc etc.

Really this just another witchhunt. You don't cry about corp welfare for auto industry. hell we bailed them out a lot more then Walmart will ever get. Same with all the unemployment extensions for union construction people on welfare who the unions couldn't keep on the job somewhere. So union not exactly some we don't need the govt entity. And they dont insure you get to work either. A lot of the time they put business under with demands.
