No brine for my turkey this year, cuz I just don't want to deal with the salt cuz of high blood pressure and past kidney problems. :-(
For mine I'll rub olive oil across the skin, then brown sugar, garlic, and lemon pepper. I'm planning to cedar-plank it in the oven, and I've got the planks soaking overnight in orange spice tea. The apple-cranberry-sausage dressing is already done, and the yams too. Tomorrow will be easy: just have to reheat those, and cook the bird and mashed red potatoes (with garlic & parsley). Voila. :-)
Oh yeah, I spoze I should get some brussels sprouts or something for green veggies too. Just because they're supposed to be there. :-)
