It can be argued how much they need, and I don't doubt they take more than they need and do some rather underhanded things at times, but the area is resource-rich, we have been trying to keep out Marxist powers for over 70 years, and thus we're going to naturally ally a society founded by and heavily influenced by members of Western civilization.

If we can afford to give illegal aliens healthcare, we can afford to defend the border. Both parties are complicit in selling out the US worker in favor of a massive army of cheaper workers who are undercutting US wages and leaving millions unemployed. Catering to the Latinos whose pet cause according to the Democrats is giving amnesty in one form or another is apparently the key to winning elections, as opposed to being law-abiding and supporting the working American.

Not really. One thing you see in general (including on this thread) from the pro-Arab side is the lack of apparent awareness of the fact that the Arabs have had several opportunities in the past for statehood (in which they'd be given more land than they have now) and
they turned down the offer. They have a hostile all-or-nothing mentality and it's costing them dearly.
Furthermore, I'm of the mind that the Arab populations should be moved out of all so-called "occupied territories" and transferred to Muslim countries. First of all, Israel needs the land for self-defense, and with multiple invasions from Muslim countries, they have every right to do so. Keep in mind that is exactly why we're in this position to begin with; Arab countries invaded and got their asses handed to them and lost land in the process. Secondly, Muslims do not need these lands, after all they control most of the space between Morocco and Indonesia. They do not need Israel or the territories.
If that isn't another Hamas photo op for manipulative dramatic effect, I don't know what is.
So we have a region controlled by militant Islamists who make a living out of randomly trying to murder Israeli citizens not only by firing rockets but by blowing people up randomly in pizzerias and on buses, and all these emotional tit wits can do is wail over accidental deaths and make false claims of genocide? Is it understood there is a difference here between accidental deaths and intentionally aiming at civilians trying to wipe out as many of them as possible? Yet again, as a former leftist, I see lefty pseudo-morality written all over this issue. If you are going to claim moral outrage at dead Palestinian civilians, then where is your outrage about suicide bombers? I never hear it from these loud mouthed self-anointed moral paragons. It is no accident that the political left toss the salads of the Palestinians. They are viewed as a revolutionary class against the capitalist pig.
