I'd much rather cut off pakistan and egypt before Israel. But we give this money to avoid wars. We figure it gives us some influence in those countries.

I think people are foolish to want to cut it all off. Also much of the aid is just giving them weapons. If we didn't give them weapons we would just have to use our own more. Hell probably be us bombing the Gaza Strip right now.

How would you all react to an outright Muslim invasion. I know its not happening but what if Egypt, Syria, Jordan attacked? Wouldn't most Americans say we should help? Or are we becoming like the Europeans who stood around while jews got butchered?

Thats what the hands off approach gets you. Everyone who wants to withdraw from the world, in 15 yrs you will regret it.

Good thing is even the dem leadership understands that IMO.
