I heard on Mike & Mike this morning a mention of how Keith Law thought it was ridiculous that Cabrera won MVP over Trout. I have to agree with him, based on the artice from September linked below, that offensive stats are given too much weight relative to defensive stats. Trout is the better all around player. But I don't have a problem with Cabrera winning it, clearly he had an
outstanding year by any standard.
