What's the server staff min wage these days? $2.00/hr**? And most are part time anyway. Of course, some "upstanding" small business owners are scummy enough to skim off the server's tips too.
Even assuming say 20 full time servers, we're talking a total of $1,600 a week
(or $83,000 a year, less than a single full time white collar professional employee
) in wage expenses for the bulk of their employees.
