I work around the military. I see racism, sexism, and everything in between. Statistically women report 33% assault rate.
Most single military men laugh at the concept of marrying a military woman. "Are you kidding me? I know where they have been!"
Women have their own issues which we might not be completely sympathetic or aware of but they exist. I do not consider myself a feminist by any means but when you are running for NATIONAL office you need to think about the larger good.
