To an extent.
OTOH You're too myopic and incapable to notice that someone like Beadles is getting to, making and finishing blocks where he's been blown off the snap before. Or how much stronger we are at C with Koppen instead of Walton.
Things like that have nothing to do with Manning son.
Manning does have a quick release and gets rid of the ball in a hurry. But there have been plenty of plays - when we've been behind - when the OL has had to pass protect for longer than 2.5 seconds.
The Broncos are among the league leaders in passes thrown over 20 yards and that doesn't happen with quick dump off passes. Combine that with the number of times we're passing the ball (compared to last year) then the OL has individually improved.
Beadles in particular doesn't get blown up in the run game like he used to. He still has the occasional play where the just whiffs but those have been far fewer.
One of the big things has been another full offseason of conditioning and working hard compared to last year where these guys didn't have that opportunity.
