And your statement about fair and equal pay is not only nauseating, it is a patent violation of civil rights. Employers do not have the right to pay anyone whatever they want, just as they don't have the right to hire whomever they want, especially if it can be proven that they are doing so based on race, gender, religion, disability, etc...all protected by the law.
Not only that, but wage discrimination doesn't only take the form of what you get paid when you're hired. It also includes not getting promotions even though you're more qualified than a male candidate, getting smaller raises based on nothing more than gender, and the like.
But again, the simple fact here is that you're in denial, like much of the Republican party, and frankly, that is why they lost so handily this week. All 9 congressmen who made disgusting comments about legitimate rape, pregnancy caused by rape, and denial the life/health of the mother even exists lost, and most of the lost BAD.
All of this in addition to things like not allowing women on a panel deciding the fate of women's rights, censuring women for saying vagina, the list goes on and on.
But keep right on denying. No,
please keep it up! It's only going to make the Democratic Party stronger, and the election returns with regard to how women voted easily bears that out.
