As a junior senator you do what you're told. The reality is that "Obamacare," the one program the Right loves to scream about the most as some kind of Bolshevik madness, was conceived and hatched on the Right. Do you even understand that? Obamacare is not a "liberal" program. Never was. The progressives, going back to Teddy Kennedy, wanted Medicare for all. Obama totally sold out the Left to back the PPACA. Do you remember what Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, was quoted as telling the progressives, who were fighting Obama when this got passed? He told them they could, "...go **** themselves." Get out of the Right Wing infobubble. Obama is as centrist as they come, if not center Right.
