why do they make so much? there is no empirical proof that any CEO contributes to any company performance metric EVER. its all mythological...they're all riding on Chuck Norris's coattails. the real reason is that each and every one of them sit on the boards of each and every one of their colleagues corporate boards and they vote themselves the earnings of these corporations. as opposed to investing in the companies futures.
