Talk about cherry-picking. That backup was Jonathan Stewart. And you fail to mention that he had more carries than Williams, so not only was he not really the backup, but that also negates the "starting" factor. He got more carries than Williams, AND had a lower ypc, so what is your point again?

And there's really no way to argue that Moreno's first year was better than Williams's 2011. In 100 more carries, Moreno only had 100 more yards and the same number of TDs as Williams. His ypc was 3.8 compared to Williams's 5.4. How is that better?
