I haven't seen this reported anywhere else so I am not going to get too excited.

I would hate to give up a 2nd round pick for him, maybe they would be willing to take KM and a 4th? If so I would jump all over that.

I prefer Williams as an insurance option over KM.

Plus this way Ball could be inactive and we could make Williams the #3 RB behind Hillman until he learns the system or outplays Hillman.

I don't see how a team with a legit chance for a SB run who has changed out players and picked guys up mid season would be content to have KM as their RB insurance should McGahee go down. Plus McGahee has missed games every year he has been here and played at less that 100% other times.

Upgrade our 4th RB position just for better insurance against injury if for no other reason.
