My concern is getting him halfway through a season, and learning a new offense if they plan on him being a contributor. RB is supposedly the easiest to pickup in an offense, but there still has to be some concern. Plus, do we really need another 30 year old RB on the roster next year? I guess if it's win now mode it's worth it, and hopefully groom Hillman to be a major contributor down the road.

I'd guess it would help Deangelo in that he played under Fox and to a lesser extent, McCoy for a good chunk of his career.
