I don't think I agree with that. Owens was far more consistent, TO only played 9 more games than Moss but basically has an All-pro seasons worth of catches and yards over him. Moss was explosive as hell, the ultimate deep threat. I'd say TO was the better all around receiver though. Not by a lot, but he never seemed like he was stealing money from teams like Moss did in Oakland, the end of his time in NE, Tennesee, and now SF (burning up the season with those 9 catches in 2012 so far).

TO has played 12 more games than Moss. TO had fewer seasons with 1400 yards, fewer with 1300 yards, fewer with 1200 yards, fewer with 1000 yards. Moss had more seasons with 10+ TDs than Owens.
But then Moss never ruined any teams - so far TO has left San Fransisco, Philadelphia and Dallas in shambles.
