Brian Dawkins (one of the best tackling Safeties to ever play the game finished with over 93 tackles in only 1 of his 16-year HOF career. That one year, was with the Broncos, in 2008. Brian Dawkins finished with 116 tackles, and the Broncos finished 29th in yards allowed, and 30th in points.
John Lynch (another HOFer) never finished with more than 87 tackles in a single season (recorded).
When your FS is leading the team in tackles, you are in some majorly deep sh*t.
