Ovbiously, that play works much better (historically) when the receiver is a fullback or tight end. Also, you need to prepare for contingencies. We could have easily "come back" for the ball and completed an easy short pass for the first down. Of course, I would choose a back side post route by the tight end if I were to seriously plan a fake FG.
Oh well, I do like the playcalling much better than pervious games, and I like being a little unpredictable. Kudos on a major offensive improvement this week.
