Because hating the way a guy plays on the field means you generally stop caring one way or the other when he's no longer on your team. I hated the way Orton played with a passion, and I haven't once looked up how he's doing in Dallas. But with the Tebow haters, it's about a lot more than how the guy plays on the field. This thread still being alive proves that.
