Our schools are going to the toilet because the teachers unions won't allow alternatives and standardization, not because we don't throw enough money at them.

The teachers union and lobby don't want any reform where they have to take any responsibility. Until that situation changes our schools will continue to struggle. Plus substantial portionns of our young people feel schooling isn't cool and perform s accordingly.

I have a close friend who is a teacher and he says it's virtually impossible to teach anymore because one or 2 students can disrupt the class and he can't do a thing to discipline these future drive through employees. The problems with our schools go much deeper than throwing money at them, much more..
