Great interior, options, the ecoboost engine really is worth it, and it's Ford. I wanted American made at the end of the day and Ford has really stepped up their game and they didn't take our taxpayer dollars. I'd highly recommend the new Escapes or Edge.
We compared it to the GMC Acadia, Ford Edge (What I want next), Honda Pilot and CRV (Really didn't care for the Hondas).
Most toyota's are practically american made. I use to work in the camry plant in KY with 8000 other employees and they told us that 80% of the parts are made in the US. The chips and gadgets come from japan and china. We were actually making the camrys they sent to europe and the middle east. the corolla and tundras are made here too. They have a few plants in mexico and canada.
