If you guys go to the main menu screen and choose "Extras" then sign up for Shift, you get an extra golden key to use.
I did the same thing Garcia, used the Eridium from the slot machines to max out my backpack. Probably the thing I like most so far is they eliminated a ton of the needless "back and forth" travel for missions.
