I just don't support gays as if they are man and woman. It is always best for children (and what normally leads after one gets married) to have a mother and a father. We know the stats and it is important. Like I said, live together, boink if they want but I don't agree on being equal in the eyes of marriage. I give them many rights as a citizen but just not the overall umbrella.
This is just more conservative 'my way is correct, **** everyone else because it's always been that way' BS.
Marriage was invented by humans to control the distribution of power and wealth. The biological imperative has NEVER had even the slightest reliance or dependence on marriage. Offspring are the product of coitus. Marriage is an unrelated factor, correlated to the production of offspring simply by association.
Marriage today is about partnership, interdependence and financial collusion. I'm married 13 yrs (in a couple weeks) raising 2 kids with my wife. We produced these kids in a planned, thought out process, and benefit (or suffer, depending on perspective) appropriately. The point is, we chose it=we own it. Regardless of what you, the govt, or any religion have to say about it.
I will not willingly stand by and deny others the same opportunity to make their own choices because some artificial definition of relationships that is diluted and warped beyond recognition suits an ideology.
Neither will Kluwe. for that he has my respect, despite being a punter and WoW degenerate.
