The issue of gay marriage doesn't bother me at all.
If a gay couple love each other and want to be married, they deserve the right to do so....it's as simple as that to me.
I don't really see what the big deal is.
These days a good percentage of straight marriages end up in divorce....I wouldn't doubt that a lesser percentage of gays would end up divorced than straight marriages.
I think that gays value marriage as much as straight married couples....they have had to fight for that basic right and I think it's something that most take seriously.
If my daughter ended up being a lesbian and she found someone she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, I would want her to have the right to be married.
