Kluwe is hilarious. Also, I'm fairly certain that in 50-60 years, we'll look back at the gay marriage question much like we now look at segregation. Which is to say we'll find it absurd and a black mark on our history. This "moralistic" or "christian" view that marriage has to be between a man and a woman makes absolute zero sense, as does implying that gay marriage will somehow affect the "sanctity" of normal marriage (whatever that is), or that it cheapens "values." It's bigotry, it's hate. And any defending of it is ludicrous.
I think, at most, it'll be looked at as we look at interracial marriage. Not many think true segregation should be around anymore but plenty still don't support interracial marriages deep down. I think that'll be the legacy of gay marriage.
