Yeah MJD is schedule to only make $4.5 million this year. I said earlier that Denver could sign him to a 4 year $30 million contract with $18 million signing bonues. Well, due to the situation he finds himself in I think you can even take those numbers down to a respectable 4 year $25 million and a $12 million signing bonus. That would take him down from 7.5 to $6.25 million and still be a raise from his current $4.5. Which, is grossly underpaid.
The thing is Jacksonville is not going to release MJD nor cut him. The Broncos will have to trade for him and that is the problem. There's no way he's worth a first round pick yet that is exactly what Jacksonville will expect.
