Then when then didnt make a big FA splash it became "We won the division 2 years ago and have one of the most talented teams in the NFL anyways except for the qb position, we only needed Hillis and Winston"
Apparently now the opinion is that Denver is some sort of expansion team, and Manning's neck will explode by the 2nd game of the season
While I think KC has a solid team, they are all overrating the crap out of their team here in an effort to downplay the Manning signing

There was no way we'd keep Carr. I think any team would rather use that money on their LT and #1 WR instead of their #2 CB. How many teams would pay $100 million total dollars combined to your starting CB's?
And while KC didn't get Manning, they still had a good free agency period and have a strong team overall that's deep.
Manning was a great signing, but the OL and defense in general is still suspect.
