Arjen Robin needs to go. His attitude was a detriment to the team, in my opinion, same as it was in the World Cup Final. Robin Van Persie is fine, but he cannot do it on his own. The first two games he had almost no support (due to the brilliant move of using two middle halfbacks who were both supposed to be defenders....emphasis on supposed to be). Wesley Sneijder was a nonfactor this whole tourney and needs to figure it out. I'll be watching for the ****-storm that will likely be coming out in the Dutch/social media over the next week.
That's unfortunate. They really only had one game that you might consider bad and even that's debateable. This was one of the hardest groups I can remember. When they lost to Denmark, they were really up against it. Germany looks like one of the strogest teams in the tournament, so losing that game was a respsectable loss. And then today, against Portugal, what Lalas said about pushing forward and leaving themselves open in the back was true. Basically, today's game was a function of losing to Denmark. They should have won that game and left themselves open to Portugal out of necessity because they didn't.
