It's actually kind of surprising that no current WR has topped Jerry Rice's mark of 1,848 yards with the way the rules have been changed and the way the passing game has evolved.

One of these years, a freak like Calvin Johnson will break the 2,000 yard barrier.
Scott Mitchell the Lions QB for Herman Moore in 1995, and Barry Sanders the RB.
