The entire group (McCoy, Tebow, all the receivers) need time together before you make any blanket statement. No one was ready for this transition mid-season. Not McCoy who has been drawing up plays on cocktail napkins as a result. Not Tebow who still hasn't gotten a real NFL off-season to work and develop. Not Thomas, Decker, Royal, etc. who caught almost zero passes from Tebow until the switch was made mid-season.
Objectivity and patience should rule the day when talking about our passing game. All of the components need to improve but all of them have shown some potential. We will lose some pieces (such as Royal) and can surely add additional talent to help. But a second year is imperative before we decide who's truly to blame.
