I've had this Sony all-in-one DAV-HDX500 home theater system
for almost five years now, I love it. 5 DVD changer + AM/FM + plenty of hookups + all 6 speakers, all-in-one.
Weird part is there's no tone controls, just a bass boost switch and movie or music selector switch. Still it always sounds great. There is a microphone that aligns the surround sound field, place where you sit, and the system's white noise-like sound sets it up.
Seems odd I'm so content, for years I had been a committed audiophile ... HK, Denon, KEF, Monster cable (BTW: Monster cables are the biggest ripoff ever).
