1995 was Shanny's first year and he started to bring in FA's at that time. It lead to the 1996 season where the Broncos went 13-3 and then crapped themselves in the playoffs (I know you know this stuff). I'm pretty sure Shanny was still bringing in FAs in 1997 when the Broncos went to and won their first SB (1998).
But the flurry of FA's happened in that window that got them the 2 SBs. At least, that is what I remember.
