Jeez, who knows anymore? GM used to own about 49% of Toyota stock, Renault I believe owns the Nissan brand now, and Mercedes used to own Chrysler (Fiat I believe owns the Chrysler brand now
). Ford used to own the Jaguar and Opel brands . . . .
