Unfortunately, my post is historically accurate. Take, for example, the Brits.
The state of Israel would never have come into existence without British help. It happened because the Zionists cut a deal with the Brits during WW I.
Germany had won the war and offered England very generous terms involving no reparations. However, the Brits refused, and began conniving to turn the situation around. They struck a secret deal with the Zionists -- who agreed to bring the US into the war. In return, the Zionists would get Palestine.
Remember -- this was AFTER the Brits had already promised the Arabs independence if they helped win the war. Which they did. The Seven Pillars of Wisdom by TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) is the historical account of the successful Arab desert campaign against the Ottoman Turks, the German ally in the MIdeast.
The Balfour Declaration was the signed deal between the UK and the Zionists.
So the US entered the war late -- which turned the tide against the Germans. After the German defeat, the Brits betrayed the Arabs at the Versailles peace conference. They also set the stage for WW II by imposing draconian reparations on Germany, even though, as noted, the Germans had been generous after initially defeating England on the battlefield.
Even though the Balfour Declaration stated that the Zionists would respect the lands and rights of the indigenous Palestinians -- the promises later went out the window. By the mid 1930s the Zionist plan to seize all of Palestine was in place.
The Brits helped train and arm the Zionists who fought against the Germans, side by side the Brits. However, before WW II was even finished -- the Zionists had turned their guns on the British.
In sum, after the Brits ceased being useful they were attacked. This is the actual history.
BTW, I 'm still waiting for Spider to put two grammatically correct sentences, back to back. I suppose it will happen when hell freezes over.
