And I got to see the end of the Iditarod today (on TV) before I left.
If you know the history behind the race and love the dogs, it's the greatest thing in Alaska!!! My local musher had to scratch halfway through due to injury but his son finished fourth. The dogs, though, are the true athletes. Quite a remarkable feat running dogs 1100 miles!
