I went there a few years back, and found it to be grossly disappointing. Not only was it so diluted as to focus on everything - it also really focused on nothing. To wit, we were in a section where they had an outfit next worn by the Backstreet Boys right next to an outfit worn by Elton John, right next to an outfit worn by James Brown. That put outfits from three different genres and three different eras right next to each other. It was completely disorganized and had no flow... be it by timeline, by genre, whatever. And on the clothing note, my daughters liked the place the most because that was what it was really all about - clothing. It seemed that 75 percent of the place was clothing.
They do have C&W stuff, but as you say, it's about 75% clothing and the rest is mainly guitars. Even much of the clothing is on the questionable side....I mean, do I really need to see Jim Morrison's boy scout uniform?

The place has always been a ripoff. One time through it is more than enough to satisfy any curiousity one may have.

For anyone who hasn't gone and are toying with the idea of going, go to a Hard Rock Cafe instead. It's cheaper on the wallet (although not by much) and you'll see the same type of artifacts (and in some cases, even better ones).
