Being able to run Civ 5 and run Civ 5 well in late game are two entirely different things.
The laptop I linked would likely run late game well, but if you wanted something that could max out late game scenarios you'd need to go with something more like what I linked for OUBronco. Civ 5 recommended specs ask for a quad core CPU, a fairly high end graphics card, and at least 4 GB of ram (with more being even better).
