IN MOVIES AND ON TV:

One of them is Clint Eastwood's character Dirty Harry Callahan - a San Francisco police officer who does whatever it takes to nab criminals, even if he needs to do unorthodox methods to put lawbreakers behind bars.

Civilized human being - he is a police officer, whose job is to protect and serve the good people of the Bay Area. He searches for clues, pinpoints the perpetrator's next move, makes arrests, etc.

...with a wild and badass side - the biggest moment of having a badass side is when Callahan stops the gun-wielding perps who shoot citizens and the officer, and he comes down hard on perps by saying things like Do you feel lucky, punk and Go Ahead, Make my Day



THE SAME THING IN REAL LIFE - I too am a civilized man with a badass side:

Civilized man - goes to college for journalism, pays bills, works for off-campus publications and broadcast stations, saves up for a rainy day, gets good grades, keeps house and clothes clean, respects women (intelligence, hard work, talent, drive to succeed, etc).

...with a badass side - says f----k you to corporate and government-controlled media, news outlets with their political bias, cusses out everything wrong with america, cheers for the Broncos, love seeing women in skin-baring clothes (showing cleavage, belly and legs), throws the rules out the window to get the story, gives the middle finger to the field crew (photographer, video editor and voice-over technician) for stories that are NOT LIVE, love cracking open a can of whoop a$$ to shake the truth out of wrongdoers, loves listening to heavy metal rock music (with profanity in the lyrics), etc.
