The dems are more split on the cap and trade in the Senate then they are healthcare.
Still the 3 main components Obama wanted were
1- a public option - he lost that
2- negotiating cheaper drugs- he made a back room deal and backtracked on that
3- Make coverage mandatory- Is one out of 3 even a huge victory?
The Dems in the Senate he couldn't get to vote for the public option will probably get the cold shoulder.
