Difference between foaming and boiling changes it that much?
In my opinion the Turkish coffee has a little extra kick but the caffeine you get is either cleaner or smarter because it does not cause coffee jitters.
Where I am I don't foam it or anything. I just pour some grounds in a cup, pour boiling water over it, stir and then serve. It's really that simple. The grounds are powdery but sink to the bottom of the cup.
The link I was sharing was to REAL Turkish coffee. There is definitely an art to the preparation and more importantly the coffee tastes good but is strong.
I think most coffee in America is burnt. I think Turkish is worth a try.
