But let's say this really did happen and 815 really does have a safe flight with these same passengers as the original manifest. What would we be left with?
* Locke stuck in a wheelchair and leading a pathetic life.
* Kate in federal custody.
* Sawyer still as a conman/a-hole that he was when the plane crashed.
* Jack returns to his practice and his gradual descent into alcoholism.
* Sun and Jin back to barely speaking with each other.
So, what plot twists do you think will happen before they put this all in a pretty bow and close the story?
That's an interesting observation ... they all had rotten lives beforehand. Except maybe Hurley and Charlie.
And Claire was probably okay .... I don't think they've made enough of the (great) plot twist that Jack and Claire are half-siblings

It'll be a mixed bag ... some will do better, some will do worse, probably with syrupy "morals to the story," especially Kate ...
"Moral to the story" ending doesn't sound much like how this series rolls, but they can't just fade to black Sopranos-style without making some kind of statement
I hope they finish up this series with even half as good of a mind-blowing finish as they ended last year ... seeing Locked in that coffin was the best jolt I ever had from a TV show ... almost like The Sixth Sense.
