But let's say this really did happen and 815 really does have a safe flight with these same passengers as the original manifest. What would we be left with?
* Locke stuck in a wheelchair and leading a pathetic life.
* Kate in federal custody.
* Sawyer still as a conman/a-hole that he was when the plane crashed.
* Jack returns to his practice and his gradual descent into alcoholism.
* Sun and Jin back to barely speaking with each other.
It would be good news for Boone and his sister, Charlie, Claire, Mr. Eko and all the folks who died in the plane crash.
It would suck for the people who lived on the island in 1977 and hadn't come from the future.
What becomes of Desmond and his son?
