Last Wednesday, our son was playing pool in town... when he got ready to leave, he found out that the driver's side window of his car was smashed and the door was open. If he'd had spare keys hidden in the car, it probably would have been stolen. Fortunately, a replacement window was available at a wrecking yard and another one of our sons knew how to replace the window.
But then Monday night, our daughter had to work late and when she went to drive home, she found that both rear tires were completely flat. Someone had slashed 3 of her brand-new studded snow tires that she just paid $400 for in late December.
