BRAD VAN PELT PASSES AWAY

Retired New York Giants linebacker Brad Van Pelt has died of a heart attack at age 58, according to the New York Daily News.
The five-time Pro Bowl selection died Tuesday in California.
A former second-round draft pick out of Michigan State in 1973, Van Pelt played for the Giants for 11 seasons. He also had stints with the Los Angeles Raiders and the Cleveland Browns.
He was named the Giants’ player of the decade for the 1970s.
Van Pelt also played basketball and baseball at Michigan State.
Funeral arrangements haven’t been announced yet.
