Whoever takes the Jets job better have thick skin. You're joining the AFCE. The Pats own it and they will be very pissed next year that their 11-5 record didn't get them in the playoffs (with Brady back, probably). Miami is now kicking ass. You have to come out swinging and the press and fans aren't going to give you a honeymoon that lasts beyond preseason (probably not even that).
In Denver, you have an eight state fan base and you're the only game in town. The fan base is like no other in America. You're in the AFCW. Put a middling defense together and you could take the division in your first year. You have one of the best owners in the game and the best facilities, not to mention a pretty nice stadium. It's the plum job in the NFL right now.
