BOLDIN, ARRINGTON COULD BE OUT SUNDAY

It doesn’t sound like receiver Anquan Boldin or running back J.J. Arrington will be in the lineup when the Cardinals travel to New England on Sunday. Both players have missed the last two days of practice and coach Ken Whisenhunt admitted that the team’s being very cautious about their health.
“Obviously, in this type of situation, where you have a game two weeks away, you want to make sure you got as many of your guys available for that game,” Whisenhunt said. “That’s got to take priority … If this was a game that for us meant to get into the playoffs, it would be a completely different scenario.”
The Cardinals have already sewn up the NFC West and, no matter how their final two games play out, have no chance at a first-round bye. Steve Breaston would start in place of Boldin, who has a shoulder injury. Tim Hightower and Edgerrin James would cover the running back workload if Arrington, battling a sprained knee, can’t go.
