Gettysburg isn't...THAT far...In lancaster county there are lots of things Amish/PA Dutch...lots of shops, etc. I can show you T.M.I., and if you like hiking, etc - i know some cool "local" spots.

I know some good restaurants that aren't Applebee's, Chili's, etc.

I guess it would depend on how long you are planning to stay, and more or less "when" you come.

The PA Renaissance faire is late summer/fall - that's always fun -
