But seriously... the problem with the rain here in the Northwest is that when it does rain, it tends to rain continuously. For days. Weeks, even. The last couple winters here in Portland, we've had months where we've had rain literally every day for the whole month. The temperature rarely goes below freezing and we only get snow briefly (for a day or two at most) once a year, but the grey dreary skies can be tough to deal with.
