That sounds awesome!
How about a little "dessert" to go with it!
Preheat oven to 350
With rack in middle position.
2 cups melted butter (4 sticks)
¼ cup instant coffee powder
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons brandy or rum extract
3 cups white sugar
3 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups milk chocolate chips
5 ½ cups flour (don’t sift-pack down in cup)
Melt the butter in the microwave at 3 minutes
On high. Or melt it in a saucepan over low heat.
Mix in instant coffee, vanilla and rum or brandy
Extract. Stir until coffee powder is dissolved.
Add in the sugar, beaten eggs, baking soda and baking powder. Mix well.
Stir in the chocolate chips. Mix until evenly distributed.
Add the flour in 1 cup at a time, stirring after each
Addition. Mix well.
Form walnut-sized dough balls and roll them in sugar if desired.
Place dough balls on a greased cookie sheet and flatten the dough balls with the back of a metal spatula.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Let them cool
On the cookie sheet for 2 minutes then place on a wire
Yield: 12-14 dozen cookies depending on size.
These will freeze well.
