That is a good question. Unusual for sure. He did secure the top ranked JuCo player in the nation for us a couple weeks ago, though, so I'm not going to complain
He seems to be very concerned about getting a good recruiting class this year, despite the turmoil, so I think he is trying to do everything he can to ensure that happens until a head coach is named.
